    The Zoning Board of Appeals will hold a public hearing: 

    Kay Bodeck, Trustee has filed an application for a variance on a property located in the Greenbelt (GB) zoning district, Free Soil Township, Sec 19, Cedar Shores Subdivision, Lot 9, Parcel 005-300-009-00, access 147 E. Sauble Drive.  The variance request: a 4-foot variance from the required 25-foot side yard setback (west) for an 18’ X 24’ garage addition to an existing non-conforming dwelling.

    David and Melody Root have requested an interpretation of the Zoning Ordinance that may relate specifically to 4964 S. Stiles Road or more generally to other parcels.  4964 S. Stiles is located in the Rural Estates (RE) zoning district: Riverton Township, 7 Acres M/L, parcel 011-015-011-00, owned by Eric and Karen Jefferies. The request:  1) An interpretation of the terms “convalescent home” and “adult foster care large group home” as they would apply to the use of this subject property.  The property is zoned to allow convalescent homes as a special land use but not adult foster care large group homes,  2) An interpretation if two adult foster care small group homes can operate within the same structure as long as they are separate and distinct, such as a men’s home and a women’s home.
